Emmet’s comfy in his crate and loves a good walk!

“Stacy was such a huge help in training our 1 year old rescue puppy Emmet. When we brought him home, he suffered from separation anxiety, to the point where he destroyed his crate and was in danger of hurting himself. Stacey gave us very practical techniques to help him get comfortable going into his crate and leaving for longer periods of time. The progress we have seen is incredible. Another big area of concern was Emmet’s walking habits. He was very distracted by other animals and would pull hard, which was especially a concern for our children. Stacy again helped us teach Emmet how to keep his focus on us so we could direct his steps, not the other way around. We now have neighbors tell us how well-behaved and calm he is! Stacy is very responsive with any questions or concerns we have, she would follow up with us after our sessions, and I love that she also spent time with our kids teaching them how to help in Emmet’s training. I would definitely recommend Pawsitive Focus. It will take commitment on your part too, but the results are so worth it!“ Kristi., Raleigh,...

Jozi’s success in meeting people!

“My dog and I loved working with Stacy. She showed us the correct way to meet people and be out in public places without jumping, barking or hiding from people. We met in a variety of places to practice training in different settings which was very helpful for me to understand how I should be training my dog. I definitely would recommend Stacy for your dog training!“ Jessica T., Raleigh,...
Happy New Year 2019

Happy New Year 2019

Wishing you a Happy New Year for 2019!  Our family has been blessed in 2018 with the move to Raleigh and so many continued friendships that once started as a call for help to Pawsitive Focus. As I write this, I hear fireworks going off.  One dog ignores them and the other looks for assurance of what he should do.  Training always pays off.  Starting young is always best; but if you get a rescues; just start as soon as you’re able to decrease or help change unwanted behaviors.  My pups, Wrigley and Joppa, are available to help with sessions too. May the Lord above bless you and bring you joy this coming...
