Swift’s barking no longer an issue

Swift’s barking no longer an issue

“Stacy provided a customized training experience for us and our adopted dog, Swift. We asked Stacy to help because as a Beagle, Swift can be stubborn. We chose the 5 visit with option to do more visits as needed. Stacy provided practical commands for our needs and goals with Swift. Specifically, we worked on: walking, sitting, come when called, and barking while we ate or doing other activities when we didn’t want her barking. Swift loved Stacy and was very attentive to her; more attentive to her than us even haha. Swift improved under Stacy’s training and the homework she gave us. It’s important to do the homework and keep working on the skills Stacy provided in order for it to become the norm. We chose Stacy because of her wealth of knowledge and experience. Also, her own dogs are very well trained and seeing them respond to commands is very impressive. We would highly recommend Stacy and Pawsitive Focus to train your dog.“ Tyler & Kristin P., Apex,...

Luke hasn’t forgotten

“As Luke has grown, he has become wiser and has not forgotten what you trained US all on.  I can open the gate and he will not run out…I say “back” and he backs up. When I pull my vehicle in, he “herds” me. Lol!! Hope you and yours are all well. And congrats on the new puppies!!!~M“ Reviewed on 9/14/17, training completed 04/13. Maria A., S. Houston,...
Beau actually came back!

Beau actually came back!

“Hey Girl ~ You just won’t believe Beau. He actually got away from us today and was half way across that wide open area out to the side of the house. I saw him and called, he stopped and looked. I called again and said good boy and he came running, only to stop and pee once. He came right to me. Thank you for that. The girls were so upset that he had wandered off..“ A post from Oct 5, 2010 Jen S. Jacksonville,...
Latte, the diva now listens and accident free

Latte, the diva now listens and accident free

“Stacy is a wonderful trainer.  She came to our home once a week to work with us and our Pomeranian, Latte.  Latte is our beautiful, 9 month old, spoiled, diva puppy!  Needless to say she wasn’t housebroken and she wouldn’t obey any commands.  The best thing about Stacy’s training is that she taught US how Latte would respond best to us and how positive reinforcement would get the best results.  I am very happy to say that we have been accident free in the house for 3 weeks!  Latte is still our diva baby but she is doing much better at listening to us and following commands. Thank you Stacy!! All true! PS:  We have taken away the crate and left the play pen.  She has been going out the dog door!  We have even started leaving her free in the sun room when we are gone for a few hours!  No chewing or accidents!” Claire Z., Jacksonville, NC Check her morning out....

Opera & Fiona – 8 years later

“Stacy Ramsdell with Pawsitive Focus is a true “Dog Whisperer” …she helped us get our 2 Australian Shepard pups off to the right start with their training, but more importantly she showed us how to properly train 2 very high energy dogs. Now, 8 years later, we have 2 large, obedient, well socialized & loving dogs.  Many, many thanks Stacy! “ Cat D.,...
Nelly learns the skills to be a Service Dog

Nelly learns the skills to be a Service Dog

“Myself and my service dog Nelly have been together since September 19 of 2015. We have worked with Stacy from Pawsitive Focus since Oct 19th 2015 until Dec 7th 2015 with 16 sessions. Within these sessions, Stacy has been beneficial for me and Nelly working together, and the relationship we have built. She has taught us to press handicap doors, pick up items from the ground, reinforce down stay, auto-sit, come, potty training, attention on me especially when people and other dogs approach and the command block, along with a variety of knowledge from behaviors of dogs to building a relationship and working as a team. Stacy has been beneficial in my learning process and has helped change my life and I now can operate under what most people can see as a normal environment.” Jeremy B., Richlands,...
