‘Bodey tones down excitement and shares the floor with toddlers.’

“I can’t thank Stacy and Pawsitive Focus enough for her help with my pups. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants kind, consistent support training the furry members of your family. Stacy worked with me several years ago to train my new Cocker Spaniel puppy. We worked specifically on getting him and my doodle to calmly walk together and load/unload from vehicles. ¬†Stacy also got them to wait at doors rather than bolting out. All of the skills made life with 2 very different dogs so much more manageable. This year Stacy and I were able to Zoom train my new Goldendoodle puppy. My Cocker Spaniel is now the “senior” dog – and a very large puppy can be just too much for him! Stacy taught me the skills and gave me the tools to get the puppy to “leave him,” tone down over excitement with a replacement toy, and share the floor with toddlers! Stacy and Pawsitive focus always emphasize positive, loving ways to help pups make good decisions. She also always follows up with excellent feedback and reminders from sessions. When they know expectations, pups really want to please. Thank you so much Stacy.” -Terri D., League City,...

“As Luke has grown, he has become wiser and has not forgotten what you trained US all on.¬† I can open the gate and he will not run out…I say “back” and he backs up. Creole

Creole

“Stacy helped us train our black lab, Creole. We met Stacy when Creole was 4 months old. Creole is now 2 years old, well behaved and able to go wherever we go. Stacy taught us techniques and commands that worked for us and our pet from sit, down, come and stand (which has come in helpful with the vet). The thing we loved the most was Stacy came to our house to train Creole, she was also available during the week if we had training questions. Each week we were left with instructions and training exercise to work with Creole. Creole gets compliments where ever we go from the vet to parks to friends houses. I have to tell you about these! My dad was amazed as Creole stayedback at our back gate while I retrieved groceries. His response ‘WOW!’ Creole consistently comes no matter where we are: home, dog park, Colorado woods, and now in Alaska. Our niece is always around. She’s on her bed, in her food, and helps to train her with her love for branches. Creole’s even temperament gives us the PEACE of Mind Stacy speaks about.” Greg & Linzay M., Pearland,...
Boboy

Boboy

“BoBoy is a schnauzer. He is 4 years old as of September and is a fine obedient dog, most of the time. Stacy worked with me and BoBoy and he progressed from constantly barking at the neighbors in their yards to minding me when I call him. He ran up and down the back fence barking at most everything and now he comes when I call and If he doesn’t hear me I use my whistle and he minds very well. He sits, stays and waits for me give him treats. Now about leading, Stacy showed me how to handle him. He is very protective of me and a very good watch dog as I’m 91. No complaints from Stacy or BoBoy.” Emma T.,...
Stanley

Stanley

“I want to thank you so much for your help with my dogs, Bailey and Stanley. I love that they get to go to school with me, but getting them into the building in the mornings used to look like a circus act. By the time I got my purse, backpack, and coffee ready to go – the dogs had jumped out of the car and were either racing through the parking lot or wrapped around my legs! Now, they both wait with the back door open for me to put everything on, and only when I tell them to “Come” do they jump out and then walk calmly beside me into their classroom. The stress relief is enormous and I can enjoy them being with me. Thanks again for all you do for us and our fur babies :))” Terri D.,...
