“My out of control 14 month old Fox Hound, Blue, was a challenge and I have trained a dozen or more dogs by myself. I considered myself very capable of training him. But after 2 months he was still out of control: barking, lunging, pulling when seeing a cat, dog, squirrel, chipmunk, etc. I first had a session with another trainer which was a nightmare.
I found Stacy of Pawsitive Focus online and found her to be courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. He now knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘wait’, and sometimes ‘come’. He is walking much better on the leash and has stopped aggressively lunging. We have had 5 sessions and will take a break due to this heat and resume in the fall until Blue is perfect.
